Executive Council Clergy Nominees

(2 to be elected)

The Rev. Dr. Beth Macke

St. Mary’s, Middlesboro

Rector

“Although I am new to the Diocese of Lexington, over the past five years I have served small, medium and large churches.  I have a passion for outreach and mission and hope to bring a breadth of experience of Episcopal Church Life.  I am excited about the mission and ministry happening in this Diocese and would like to be an integral part of its journey.”

The Rev. Emily Richards

St. Alban’s, Morehead

Vicar

“Having grown up in the diocese as a member of Christ Church Cathedral and now serving as the vicar of one of our smallest parishes in Eastern Kentucky, I feel I would bring a broad and varied perspective to the Executive Council. I am strongly committed to our Bishop’s vision of the Church as a missionary community and feel blessed to be a part of a diocese where the reconciling love of Christ is indeed manifested in our parishes and our communities.”

The Rev. Dr. Ronald Summers

St. Andrew’s, Ft. Thomas

Rector

“As rector of St. Andrew’s and as a participant in the Diocese of Lexington in a variety of areas such as Commission on Ministry, Standing Committee, Camps and Conferences, etc., serving in the leadership and life of our diocese, I listen well, consider all options and then make decisions.”

The Rev. James Campbell

Retired/Supply priest

“As a retired priest, I remain active, serving as supply clergy most Sundays. In this ministry I have been in churches over the Diocese, and have an increased awareness and concept, not only of the diocese as a whole, but of many of the circumstances of individual parishes.”
