From the DioceseAnnual Women’s Retreat 2004Sponsored by the Episcopal Church Women & open to all women Thursday, May 13 ~ Sunday, May 16 Organized program begins with supper at 6 p.m. Friday, May 14 The “official” ECW Women’s Retreat will be held again this year at the Cathedral Domain. Bishop Stacy Sauls will serve as the retreat leader. He will offer a series of meditations based on the Nicene Creed; you’ve said it before and you’ll say it again…wouldn’t you like a better understanding of what you’re saying? There will also be numerous opportunities for fun and fellowship during the weekend. Between meditations, worship and fun activities are planned. There will also be time to read, hike, sleep or do whatever you need to rejuvenate your spirit and recharge your batteries! The organized retreat begins Friday evening, but an extra “day on your own” at the Domain on May 13 is available for only the cost of lodging that night (remember: no meals will be served until 6 p.m. Friday). Do yourself a favor and allow your spirit to be replenished in this wonderful weekend of teaching by our bishop and fellowship with your sisters in Christ.
