Past Issues

The Bishop's Conference room at Mission House was a temporary "home" for hundreds of teddy bears which were collected across the Diocese of Lexington for children who have suffered great losses in Hurricane Katrina. The bears have traveled to the Diocese of Mississippi with the work group led by the Rev. Canon Bryant Kibler. The Rev. Sally Boelter, rector of St. Raphael's, Lexington, and Matt Hartney, Mission House staff, landed among the colorful bears when Boelter delivered her parish's contributions to the Diocesan Office.

Northern Ky. to host Diocesan Convention to consider environment; Smith to chair

Gay Smith, a member of Trinity Church, Covington, is chair of the Convention Planning Committee for the 110th convention of the Diocese of Lexington, which will be held in the Northern Kentucky area, with Trinity Church and the Radisson Hotel Riverfront at the Covington 5th St. Exit off of I-75 anchoring the events. A committee which is composed of representatives from the Northern Kentucky congregations is working with the Diocesan office, and will announce details over the coming months. more.

 

All Saints Village: of faith and mission

All Saints Village is getting ready. At the Trent Blvd. campus in Lexington, work that began with a September clean-up day has gone forward, with carpenters, electricians, plumbers and other skilled and unskilled helpers preparing dormitory buildings to receive _____________. more.
