Being of a good heart and a kind and giving nature is the order of the day. Recently, our congregation at Church of the Good Shepherd, Lexington, was reminded of this at our monthly outreach meeting when a member of the parish joyously announced that she was learning to be a driver for St. Agnes’ House. more. Nominees for the 26th Presiding Bishop NamedThe Joint Nominating Committee for the Election of the Presiding Bishop recently announced the names of those bishops it will place in nomination for election as 26th Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church. The 29-member committee is chaired by Bishop Peter J. Lee of Virginia and Diane B. Pollard of New York.] more. J. Philip Newell, Celtic author and lecturer, to speak at Christ Church CathedralDr. J. Philip Newell, an internationally acclaimed lecturer and writer and a leader in reviving interest in the Celtic tradition, will speak at Christ Church Cathedral on Friday evening, April 28, at 7 p.m. The event is open to the public. In addition, he will meet with Episcopal clergy and Christian educators on Sunday afternoon, April 30, in the Great Hall of the Cathedral.
